About Me
Early Education
I completed my schooling under the ICSE and ISC English medium curriculum from Calcutta Public School, Kolkata, where I developed an early interest in science and healthcare.
Personal Life
I am Dr. Asish Kumar Saha, born on 11th February 1994 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I come from a family deeply rooted in healthcare, service, and education, which has strongly shaped my values and professional journey.
My father, Mr. Ranjit Saha, is a homeopathic physician, educationist, and entrepreneur, whose dedication to healthcare and knowledge inspired my early interest in medicine. My mother, Mrs. Gouri Saha, is a nurse and social worker who runs a non-governmental organization, instilling in me a strong sense of compassion and commitment to community service.
I have a younger brother, Snahasish Saha, who is a marine engineer currently serving in the merchant navy, reflecting our family’s diverse professional pursuits and global outlook.
I am married to Dr. Trishya Mishra Saha, a medical professional specializing in clinical pharmacology. Her expertise and shared passion for healthcare continue to be a source of motivation and collaboration in my professional life.
Growing up in such an environment, I developed a deep appreciation for healthcare, research, and patient-centered care, which has guided my career as a clinical pharmacologist, medical affairs professional, and healthcare leader.
Professional Education
I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) in 2016, which laid the groundwork for my career in clinical pharmacy and research.
Further advancing my clinical expertise, I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru in 2019, gaining extensive training in clinical practice, pharmacotherapy, and research.
To strengthen my leadership and administrative capabilities, I pursued an MBA in Hospital Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, which I completed in 2021.
Expanding my global perspective in healthcare systems and population health, I later completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom in 2024.
